How the process works
The process is deliberately simple and fully bilateral.
- Submit a trade enquiry. Tell us what you want to buy: product (REGOs, GOs, RECs, I-RECs, carbon), country/region, technology preference, vintage, volume, delivery preference and timing.
- Feasibility and KYC. We confirm whether the trade is feasible, check or complete basic KYC and clarify any registry or account details.
- Receive a firm BTC quote. You receive a quote in BTC including underlying certificate price, conversion basis, fees, validity window and settlement terms.
- Send Bitcoin. If you accept, you pay the quoted BTC amount to the specified address within the agreed timeframe.
- Registry delivery. Certificates are delivered via the agreed registries: transfer to your account, or cancellation on your behalf, with references provided.
- Deal pack. You receive a brief deal pack linking the BTC transaction to the certificates delivered, suitable for internal records and ESG reporting.
